e-Books perfume! What?!: An Objection to the ridiculousness of today's technology.

An aerosol e-book enhancer

I have recently come across a new item that is out on the market, it's a wonderful smelling perfume. But hold on a minute, this perfume is not for people, dogs, or even to make the room smell nice. Nope, it's for e-Books. I suppose alot of novel reader's out there don't like e-books simply because it lacks that "Book smell". So in order to rectify this problem, a company invented: Smell of Books: An aerosol e-book enhancer they have tons of scents including New Book Smell, Classic Musty Smell, Scent of Sensibility, and a couple of others.

Does this seem absolutely absurd to anyone else?! I know it helps the environment to convert books to technology, but if you want the smell so bad, go and purchase a paperback novel, there are tons of them at these wonderful places called bookstores!

Let me get off my chest and say that technology baffles me a great deal lately. Some of it makes no logical sense to me what-so-ever! Like, I hate it when people text me, mostly because my cellphone plan involves me paying twenty-five cents to send and receive text, and I tell everyone I talk to not to force me to throw away a quarter when you can call me and tell me what you want to say just as easy, if not easier! Not to mention, people would rather spend time with technology then people. I know I have been in the situation (numerous times, might I add) when I am visiting a group of friends and all of them are texting on their phones instead of talking to those right in front of them.

I think I-pods are quite useful though, I love them, all the music possible jammed into this tiny device in the palm of my hand, it's wonderful, especially since I take very poor care of my CD's. Actually, I am thankful I have an I-pod.

These insane cellular devices are getting a little out of hand, the I-phone and all it's useless apps, are silly. I still have a brick of a Motorola that came out in 2004, simply because I am to lazy to pay $2,000,000,000.00 for an I-phone X3000 or whatever nonsense it is.
I really don't think people realize how ridiculous all this is, they are so focus on their cars with the seats that warm your ass to stop and think what's really important in life. We are lucky to have such convenience at our fingertips. And as human flaw, we use it and abuse it. We sue fast-food companies for making our 2 year old children 150 pounds instead of realizing that it's the parenting, and not enforcing your right to tell your child to go out side and play instead of sitting in front of the x-box all day! Or cooking dinner at home instead of order take-out every night.

I suppose this concludes my rant. I just hope someday people can realize how ridiculous all this is and put a stop to it.
