Postsecret

I realized that one of the things that keeps me going through the week isn't all that well known. All week long I can't wait to see what this Sunday's post will be. I am talking about a wonderful movement called Post Secret.

I have been reading Post Secret for years now, I can't even remember when I first discovered it, and I am glad I did. I don't think I could have gotten through the worst years of my life without the inspiration and comfort of knowing I was not alone in what I was feeling. And now I am hooked.

You may ask: What exactly is Post Secret? Well I shall tell you, its a community on the web that people from all over the world mail in their secrets and on every Sunday a man named Frank Warren posts a select few on a blog located here: http://postsecret.blogspot.com/
They even sell books full of secrets that don't get posted, you can purchase them at any book store. The interesting thing about buying the books is sometimes you'll find a secret in the book that someone has put there that recently visited the book store, it happens all the time.

Another question you may be asking is: Is it a little creepy to read other people's secrets? I do agree, I have found myself a little uncomfortable reading secrets from people I don't know, but then I realized that they sent it in to get some kind of relief from guilt, or feeling of being different. I read them in hope that one day I may be able to send one of my secrets in, until then I will relate to these people I don't know, because I share a lot of there secrets.
